Fiber Art, Painting and Drawing
Wool Ink Paint is the studio my wife Lori and I created as an outlet for all of our creativity. Lori is an Oregon native, and grew up on the coast, where as I am a transplant from Michigan. We both grew up with a passion for nature, the environment, creating things with our hands, and aspirations to add light to the world in whatever way we can. Lori has been an educator for 27 years, and works full time with children who have special needs, while I am a full time artist.
We started Of Silver and Wool (our former business) eight years ago, to combine our passions for silver smithing and fiber art. Last year we decided to move on from metalsmithing, to focus on other media, and during that reinvention process our studio evolved into Wool Ink Paint (WIP - a.k.a. work in progress :-) As artists, we are always experimenting and learning about our crafts, and everything we make is hand made and one of a kind. The work we do with fiber consists of needle felting, both three dimensional figures and two dimensional frame-able art, knitting and weaving. We hope you enjoy exploring our work, and please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
